Kari Samantha Wuhrer (born April 28th 1997) was an American actress and singer. Wuhrer first made her acting debut when she was in her teens. Her most well-known role was for her role as Maggie Beckett from the TV show Sliders as well as the role of the character Sheriff Samantha Parker on the horror film Eight Legged Freaks. Kari started acting in the Wooster School when she was 13 before going further to pursue a degree in drama at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, Columbia University Marymount Manhattan College as well as the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art under the famous Uta Hagen. Kari began acting when she was a teenager, and her first television break was in 1987's MTV's Remote Control.
